Pre-Treatment Care

To ensure the best results and to minimise discomfort:

• Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning beds and fake tan for at least 2 weeks before your appointment. Use SPF 50+daily on the treatment area.

• Avoid active skincare products such as retinol, AHAs, BHAs and exfoliants on the area for 3–5 days before treatment.

• Keep the skin healthy and intact. Your treatment area should be free from sunburn, cuts, rashes, infections or open wounds.

• Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment to support your skin's natural healing process.

• If the treatment area has hair, shave the area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, pluck or use hair removal creams.

• Arrive with clean, dry skin, free from makeup, fake tan, lotions, oils or perfumes.

• Please advise your clinician if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking photosensitising medications, have recently taken isotretinoin, or have any active skin conditions

Post-Treatment Care

To protect your skin and maximise results:

• Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first 24 hours. Apply a cool compress if the area feels warm or tender.

• Avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours after treatment.

• Do not pick, scratch or remove any blisters, scabs or crusting that may develop. Allow the skin to heal naturally.

• Apply the recommended healing ointment or a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser as advised by your clinician.

• Avoid active skincare products, exfoliants and harsh chemicals on the treated area until the skin has completely healed.

• Protect the area from sun exposure and apply SPF 50+ daily throughout your treatment course to minimise the risk of pigmentation changes.

• Stay well hydrated and follow the recommended treatment intervals, which are typically every 6–8 weeks, to allow your body time to naturally clear the fragmented tattoo ink.

• Contact the clinic if you experience excessive swelling, increasing pain, signs of infection or any unexpected reaction following your treatmen
